How to prepare your home for professional photography:

-Make your home as clean and neat as possible (as if you're having an open house!)

-Turn on all the lights and lamps.

-Blinds should be open and raised halfway to let natural light in. 

-Turn off all ceiling fans, they tend to look weird in pictures. 

-Remove anything off the floor.

-Remove kids toys.

-Hide all pets belongings and toys

-If there are certain items that cannot be relocated or stored, we can move them from

to room while we shoot.

KITCHEN

-Remove anything personal from the kitchen i.e. calendars, bills, pictures, etc.

-Remove magnets off of the fridge, 

-Hide the trashcan, sponges, soaps, etc. 

-Remove any rugs, remove pet bowls. 

BATHROOMS

-Put all toilet seats down,

-Remove bath rugs,

-Remove all items from bathroom counter tops, unless you want decorative items in the photos,

-Empty the shower of all shampoos, soaps, etc. (unless we will be taking photos

with a shower curtain closed).

BEDROOMS

-Remove everything from dressers, end tables, bureaus, except for lamps, if any.

-Make the beds and straighten pillows, blankets & Duvets. 

 

LIVING ROOM & DINING AREAS

-Remove all remote controls,

-Remove belongings from tables and TV stands, unless they're decorative, 

-Straighten all pillows and blankets on the couch.

EXTERIOR

-Make the yard and any porches/decks as clean and neat as possible.

-Remove cars from the driveway, 

-Remove trash bins and recycling bins, or hide them. 

-Remove all lawn equipment and gardening supplies. 

-Make sure patio furniture is neat, and the umbrella is open. 

 

*ANYTHING WE MOVE OR RELOCATE WILL BE RETURNED BACK TO ITS ORIGIONAL PLACE ONCE PHOTOS ARE COMPELTED*
